To modify a clock in/out time

To modify a clock in/out time double click on the time, and edit the time entry. When done entering, press Enter. On leaving the cell with the time entry, the time entry will change to a blue font to show that the time had been changed. Also the hours worked columns will be updated. The blue font indicates a change was made which will be recorded when the OK button is pressed. A comment may be added in the comment column to indicate why the time was changed.

To add clock in and clock out entries

Clock in and clock out entries may be added in pairs. If a clock in is added, a corresponding clock out must be added. A clock in and clock out pair may be entered into the last row, which is always blank. Also, a blank row may be inserted elsewhere in the list by clicking on a cell where the row is to be inserted and pressing the insert button. After the clock in/out times are entered, they will be displayed in a blue font. The blue font indicates a change was made which will be saved when the OK button is pressed.

To Delete clock in and clock out entries

A clock in and clock out pair may be deleted by clicking anywhere on the row to be deleted, and then pressing the delete button. If the entries being deleted were not just inserted, they will change to a gray font. The gray font indicates that the row will be deleted when the OK button is pressed.

To undelete a gray row

If the OK button has not been pressed yet, grayed rows can be undeleted with the Undelete button. Click on the row to be undeleted. Then press the undelete button. The font will change to black and the row will not get deleted when the OK button is pressed.

OK Button

When the OK button is pressed, all the changes made will get recorded and the dialog will close.

Note: Changes will also get recorded when selecting a different employee or date. A message similar to the following will appear “Record changes before selecting a new employee? (Yes/No)”.

Cancel Button

When the Cancel button is pressed, any changes not recorded will be discarded and the dialog will close.
