Steps to Getting Started

The following instructions outline the steps necessary to create a new database and configure the company, employee and other setup information. If you are not that familiar with AttendView yet, you may want to experiment more with the sample database (See AttendView 5 Minute Tour).

Steps to Getting Started with Attend View

  1. Create a new database

  2. Configure company information

  3. Create departments

  4. Add Employees

  5. Configure the user list to limit access to AV Tools

  6. Start AV Clock

  7. Setup AV Clock

  8. Install AttendView on other computers on the network. See Network Installation (optional).

  9. If you want to use a card reader with AV Clock, see Using a magnetic stripe or bar code reader (optional).
