Network Installation

When AttendView is to be used on more than one computer on a network, the following must be done.

1. A location must be selected for maintaining the database. It could be in the AttendView directory of one of the computers with AttendView installed but doesn’t need be.

2. After Installing the AttendView software on each computer where the AV Tools or AV Clock will be run, the database file designated in the previous step must be selected. Start AV Tools and select the database using “Select Database” from the file menu. It could also be set from AV Clock. See AV Clock Setup.

3. If the employees will be clocking in and out from more than one computer, the time on the computers must be synchronized. See Time Syncronizing.
